Peacefully, at his home, on Monday, 27th July 2026, Reverend Archibald Freeland Chisholm of Seabank Road, Nairn, aged 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Margy, a much-loved father of Sandra, Barbara, Nancy and Sheila, a dear father-in-law, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, and a sadly missed relative and friend to many. Body donated to medical teaching and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is with sadness we announce the death of the Rev Archie Chisholm. As many of you will remember he was the interim moderator and populate locum at Crown Church during vacancy before Rev Peter Donald\u2019s induction. He did some pulpit supply including OHSS and his prayers were always very meaningful – this he attributed to a placement during his training. One of life’s gentlemen it was a pleasure to have known him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Archie was ordained in 1957 – 69 years ago and his final charge was Braes of Rannoch with Foss and Rannoch. A regular member of the Presbytery of Inverness and Nairn and always willing to assist when asked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
